How to play
When you spot a Volkswagen Beetle, shout "Punch buggy!" (and traditionally deliver a gentle arm punch to a fellow passenger). Some play for points instead of punches; an incorrect call loses a point.
Notable variants
"No punch backs!" rule; Brazilian "Fusca Azul" (blue Beetles, other players defensively cross arms and say "Fechei"); Mexican variant uses yellow Beetles for good luck.
