Who Am I?

One player thinks of a famous person (real or fictional). Others ask yes/no questions to figure out who. Unlike Botticelli, the chooser doesn't need to defend against counter-questions.

#04

Botticelli

The chooser thinks of a famous person and announces the first letter of their surname. Other players ask *indirect* yes/no questions like "Are you a British monarch?" — if the chooser can name *any* British monarch whose surname starts with that letter, they stump the question. If the chooser is stumped, the asker gets to ask one direct yes/no question. First to guess wins.

  • Ages 12+ (needs a broad knowledge of famous people)

French Toast

The chooser thinks of any noun. Askers pose only *comparative* questions: "Is it more like a hammer or a piano?" The chooser chooses the closer one (or "equally close"). Players use answers to triangulate; a direct guess wins.

The Forest (Contact)

The chooser thinks of an object. Players take turns making *true statements* about the object ("It is made of wood"). If a statement is false, the chooser says so. Players use the narrowing set of true statements to guess; a correct direct guess wins.

Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon

One player names any actor. Another player must connect that actor to Kevin Bacon in as few steps as possible — co-starring with someone who co-starred with someone who co-starred with Bacon. Shortest chain wins the round.
